Scott A. Orndorff will retire as Vice Chairman and Chief Advisor to the CEO of Millers Mutual Insurance on July 31, 2021, after serving seven years as President & CEO. Orndorff announced his intent to retire in 2019 after 42 years in the industry. He has been serving as Vice Chairman of the Board and Chief Advisor to Jonah Mull, current President & CEO since January 1, 2021, ensuring a smooth and successful transition.
Orndorff served Millers Mutual with great distinction as President & CEO, and as a member of its Board since February 24, 2014. His great concern for the well-being of the Company and its employees reflected his steadfast respect for his colleagues. His strong leadership skills and expertise in strategic planning were instrumental in revolutionizing the Company and setting it up for a very successful future.

Throughout his career, Orndorff held various senior level positions including Senior Executive with Westfield Insurance, where he provided strategic and operational leadership for a specialty division focused on workers compensation, agribusiness and transportation. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Old Guard Insurance. He also worked for an insurance agency in Central Pennsylvania, where he was responsible for developing specialty programs and alternative risk transfer mechanisms.
