Millers Mutual Insurance is pleased to welcome Steve Zickefoose as Assistant Vice President of Claims effective Monday, January 15, 2024. Zickefoose joins the Senior Leadership Team with an abundance of experience, spending most of his career at Westfield Insurance before making a shift to his most recent role as Director of Claims at Harford Mutual.

“I’m eager to hit the ground running in partnership with Tim Kirk and the entire leadership team,” said Zickefoose.  “Millers has a respected culture of passion and a deep commitment to its employees, agents, and insureds. As Assistant Vice President of Claims, Zickefoose will partner with Tim Kirk, Vice President of Claims, where he will oversee the strategic and operational direction of the claims department including CAT storm management, strategic and operational initiatives, budgeting and supporting the claims leadership team.

Zickefoose is a graduate of Bowling Green State University where he holds a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies. He also completed The Institutes UVA Darden Executive Leadership Program and holds an Associate in Claims (AIC) designation, as well as the designation of Senior Claim Law Associate (SCLA).  He is also a retired combat veteran, who served 23 years as an aviator in the United States Army.
