Millers Mutual Insurance, a niche property and casualty insurance carrier serving the multifamily housing industry, appointed Gladys Brown Dutrieuille, most recently the former Chairman/Commissioner of the PA Public Utility Commission and Scott Orndorff, past President & CEO of Millers Mutual as directors effective immediately. With their appointment, the Board of Directors consists of 10 members.

Dutrieuille has a background in the Pennsylvania Senate, as legal staff to Senate Democratic caucus prior to her appointment to the Public Utility Commission in 2013. During her time with the Commission, she focused on cybersecurity concern of utilities and served as the Chairman of both the Pennsylvania Utility Commission and the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commission (NARUC) Committee on Critical Infrastructure.

Orndorff has spent more than four decades of his professional career serving the insurance industry on both the carrier and agency sides in a variety of roles including:  Old Guard Insurance (1993 – 2000) where he served as Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, Westfield Insurance (2000 – 2010), leading both the Agribusiness and Specialty Divisions as a Senior Executive, a Vice President for Murray Risk Management and Insurance (2011 – 2014) and President & CEO of Millers Mutual (2014 – 2021).
